Extremely nostalgic sound track, incredible game and such simpler times, felt like playing inside LoTR or someth

It was hard to play this game for the longest time because of the story, & my mom had liver cirrhosis. She was ready to give up & throw in the towel. Playing dark souls like games & working out really molded me into a person to persevere. I told her she had to fight, that she couldn’t give up on life. That was five, long, & painful years ago. My mom just got her transplant a month ago, & told me in tears it was specifically because of me pushing her to live that she’s still here. This soundtrack, this playlist got me through those dark times sometimes. & for that I am grateful. & now I aim to finish what I started. I think I can,

my dad won a disablity settlement for like 40k in 2010 (I was 14) and gave me 1k of it to spend on what I would like(a lot of it was on shoes and clothes and shampoo and conditioner) but my major spending was a PS3 and a few games I had seen when I watched my first e3 that year. i got black ops 1 and I know gran turismo 5 because he likes the GT series and that turned out to be a good purchase we still have it. 6 months later im a few months into high school and all the people I befriended have 360s. i trade my ps3 for my friends collection of 360 games and my collection of ps3 games and a few ps1 games that i regret ( crash 1 and 2 and medieval) and i got good memores from that 360 but i wish I kept the ps3

This still is and, I think, always will be my favourite game ever

I fell in love with the world of Elder Scrolls, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, my daughter grew up, I showed her these games and she fell in love too, she can't stop playing Oblivion and already has Skyrim in her library, she thinks that these games released in these years have a magic that modern games have not managed to achieve.

First time I am hearing this and I am getting really strong Basil Poledouris (Conan the Barbarian OST) vibes. If there ever is a King Conan movie with Arnold, I think this guy here should do the OST.

The journey of your guys across the D&D Yukon equivalent was always to me a sort of allegorical journey. At the outset, they're a bunch of people who have never really met each other beforehand just thrown together by happenstance because they don't really "fit in" in the more developed parts of the Realms for whatever reason. Then at the end, they're a fire-forged team of ultimate badasses who take down epic level half demon casters.

This was a great RPG series and I actually enjoyed Deadfire more than the 1st. Too bad it didn't sell that well. Interestingly enough more and more people are discovering it asking themselves why they didn't play it earlier. Who knows perhaps if it sold well we would have a third installment. One thing for sure it didn't hold your hand which I love in an RPG. And there were some serious moral choices. For me the only negative aspect was sometimes to tell the story there would be those moments when we had to wade through a wall of text (both 1 and 2). Thanks for the upload.

I wish I had the base game's score on CD, but I did manage to get the Dark Arisen CD which does have tracks from the base game too I think. And boy, DD2's score is nothing compared to this. It's like Han Zimmerman music. It's there.

As this score is very good(!), I must say it would not fit Gothic 1/2/3 atmosphere. Too many of those soundtracks are cinematic/orchestral, remind me of WoW / Dark Souls / other RPG music. Most of previous Gothics soundtracks had more minimalistic, immersive character - with its own style, instrumentation and also custom sounds from the game. Not better music, but much better tailored to those games. One could say that music in Gothic 1/2/3 was crucial in creating original Gothic-like atmosphere.
